A letter from the team · Dallas–Fort Worth
We’re the local crew that makes finding an apartment feel easy.
MoveInApt started with a simple frustration: finding a place to live in Dallas–Fort Worth is stressful, slow, and somehow feels like it costs you — even when it shouldn’t. We wanted to fix that, in plain English and plain Spanish.
We’re not a call center. We’re your neighbors.
We live and work in Dallas–Fort Worth. We know which Uptown mid-rises actually allow big dogs, which Plano complexes are quiet at night, and which Las Colinas towers are worth the waterfront premium. That’s local knowledge you can’t scrape off a national listings site.
Searching for a home shouldn’t cost you — or stress you.
You describe what you want in your own words. A real local expert does the digging, lines up the tours, and stays with you through signing. No forms to wrestle, no runaround, no pressure to take a place that isn’t right.
Here’s exactly how we get paid.
No catch, no fine print. This is the whole model, in one paragraph:
Apartment communities set aside a referral budget to fill their units. When you lease through us, that budget pays us — not you. Your rent is the same as if you’d walked in off the street. You never pay a fee, at any step.
Who backs us, plainly.
MoveInApt operates as a DBA of Oikos, a licensed Texas real estate brokerage — so your search is handled under a real, regulated broker, the way apartment locating is supposed to work in Texas.
And when moving day comes, we can line up a discounted move through our partner, Polaris Moving — a real crew, not a gift card. It’s optional, and it’s something the big national locators simply don’t have.
Legal, in brief: MoveInApt is a DBA of Oikos, a licensed Texas real estate broker. Equal Housing Opportunity. Broker license details are shown at signing. This is an internal draft — final licensing and legal copy are confirmed before launch.
Our commitment to you.
A fast first reply — usually within minutes, not days. Real options, not a generic list. Zero pressure to sign anything. And help in the language you’re most comfortable in, from the first message to the last box unpacked.
The people you’ll talk to
One local team, three ways we show up.
You get a real person from first message to signed lease. Placeholder profiles below — real locator bios go live at launch.
